Winters are coming and Delhi is again facing toxic air problem. In last five years one lakh children died due to toxic air. After Dasherra celebration Delhi’s sky is smoky due to polluted air and somewhere it is reflecting the cold also.
According to WHO “Globally, 93 per cent of the world’s children under 18 years of age are exposed to ambient fine particulate matter (PM2.5) levels above WHO air quality guidelines, which include the 630 million of children under 5 years of age, and 1.8 billion of children under 15 years,”
Air quality in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) on Tuesday deteriorated further after an overnight spike in Particulate Matter (PM).

What is toxic air?
Toxic air is polluted air which include some harmful things those are not good for breathing and may cause health issues. Toxic air may cause cancer and some major heart issues. It may be responsible for birth deficiency. Infants and pregnant woman, children may cause some major health issues due to polluted air.

Polluted ingredients like hydrogen chloride, benzene, cadmium, mercury and chromium are present in air. These ingredients are harmful for breathing.NO2 (nitrogen oxide) which is reddish brown and sharp odor toxic.

Morning and evening air can be more harmful so ask your child coach to arrange practices late in the morning .So you can avoid bad air time.
Buy a good quality mask:
Many people buy cesarean mask on the name of air mask. Try to buy N99 OR N95 mark masks. They refine air from toxic air.
Use Indoor air purifier especially for children room. A sound sleep of long hours will help them in maintain a good health.
