The race for the admission in nursery for 2019 is about to start from 14th December. As announced by Directorate of education of Govt. of national territory of Delhi nursery admission has officially begun. Schedule of nursery admission has been announced. There are some changes in the guidelines of nursery admission 2019.
Government has changed the upper age limit criteria. The government has set an upper age limit of less than four years to be eligible for nursery, less than five years for kindergarten, and less than six years for admission to Class 1.
The proposal for upper age limit was changed by court last year.
Important dates has been announced for Delhi nursery admission. 25% of total seats of preschool and primary is reserved for economically weaker and disadvantage group.

The directorate asked schools to upload their criteria (with points for each criterion) for admission in open seats, on its official website by December 14.
As per the order of the High Court dated January 6, 2016 schools cannot conduct an oral test or interview of the children for admission. The schools will upload admission criteria and corresponding point attached to each criteria on the Directorate of Education (DoE) website by December 14, 2018. The criteria must be decided keeping in mind the High Court directive. 3 Months will be hectic for parents because getting an admission in Delhi nursery is not an easy task. You have to be aware about the process of schools because each and every school have different process of points.
