Google has announced that it will pay publishers for quality and news content

On Thursday it has been announced officially that Google will now onwards pay partnered media publishers in 3 countries. They are also promising some users with free access to their pay wallet. This announcement was made after the legal battles that took in between France and Australia.

This battle was over Google’s refusal for paying any amount of money to the news organization for the content. Along with this news, Google also added that they are planning to launch a licensing program that will help them to pay publishers with good work quality content so that they get a new news experience. Google is also promising to pay for free to the users who will read the pay wallet articles on the publishers’ site.

As per Brad Bender who is the Vice President of product management, Google said that he is having words with the partnered publishers which include the Schwartz media in Australia and Brazil’s Diarios Associados, Spiegel Group in Germany for some months. He also added that the program will add an advantage to the publishers to monetize their content through an enriching storytelling skill.

On the 2018 Google News Initiative, there was a 30 dollar million project had aimed to tackle the untruth online and thus helps the news sites to grow in the financial ground. Google is willing to pay for content after there are growing calls for all international tech titans.

Including the AFP there several European and the global publishers who are having an official meeting with the European Union so that they can adopt the new laws. It is all about a good amount of payment by internet companies for providing quality content.

In April the France competition regulator made an announcement where he suggested that big firms must pay a really good amount of money to the groups of media in return for content display. There was a good amount of negotiation with the European news digital copyright law as they refused that went for a month.

Earlier this month Google has rejected the Australian ruling. It is done so as they pay hundreds of millions of dollars every single year. They are competing with the local media under a government that has imposed a revenue-sharing deal. The announcement made by the Google made people gossip in social media and people are reacting to this particular news worldwide.
